Headquartered in San Clemente, CA, TrafFix Devices
Inc. was founded in 1987 by Jack & Sue Kulp. Shortly thereafter Walter
Kuczera joined TrafFix Devices, handling sales and marketing for the Eastern
half of the country while Jack took care of the West and Sue managed the
office. In 1989, Brent Kulp joined TrafFix and took over as Western Region
Sales Manager. By 1993 TrafFix had 4 regional sales managers covering the
entire country and Walter Kuczera had moved west to head up the marketing
department for the company. Now with 5 regional sales offices throughout the
country and manufacturing facilities in Iowa and Southern California, TrafFix
Devices Inc. has become a leading supplier of road safety products for the
traffic control industry. Our product line includes plastic channelizer drums,
portable sign stands and roll-up signs, plastic barricades, 28" and
42" cones and tubular delineators, vertical panels, barricade lights,
safety vests, stop/slow paddles and our newest addition to the product line:
The TrafFix Impact Attenuator Sand Barrel System, "Big Sandy" - This
new product has been tested to NCHRP 350 crash test
requirements (TL3) and has received federal approval as well as state approval
in over 40 states accross the country.
With the addition of our new international division, located at our corporate
headquarters, TrafFix Devices Inc. is quickly becoming a major international
