HI is the middle performing retroreflective material and is the most commonly specified. DG is a brand name and returns the most amount of light to the motorist. State DOT's will specify different levels of performance on different devices. It is always good to check with your local traffic engineer to determine which retroreflective material should go on your device.

You sure can! Simply communicate with our Customer Service Department and let them know that you will be arranging for your own freight hauler. We will need to let you know when your shipment is ready for pick-up and from which location.
What is a Freight and Drop charge?
Freight and Drop freight charges occur when your order is shipped in a truck with other TDI customer orders and the amount you are invoiced is determined by the sharing of the total truck freight charges. This method normally will take longer than LTL shipments; however, we use contract haulers so the likelihood of damaged shipments is greatly reduced.
What is a LTL charge?
LTL stands for Less than Truckload. Your products are loaded on a truck with other non-TrafFix Devices products shipping to similar locations. The LTL hauler determines the amount charged.
What are your prepaid freight policies?
In most cases, a truckload quantity will get you free freight in the lower 48. We love to ship truck loads! Some exceptions to truck load free freight are rubber bases, by themselves, Phoenix Sign Stands, Zephyr Sign Stands, and Tire Rings. We also provide free freight on certain products when you order the minimum amount required. Check with your Regional Manager or Customer Service Rep.
